Surfside Primary School

Hi, I'm David Holden, teacher of M11.

This term our wonderful and talented students are learning about all sorts of SAFETY issues, including road safety, water safety, fire safety and situations around our home and the environment.

At the moment, we are looking at water safety and the dangers that may be around pools, the beach, ponds, dams, lakes, rivers and water at home.

Eg. Always swim between the flags at the beach! (Chloe)

Eg. You need a licence to drive a motorised boat. (Gemma)

Eg. Surfers should stay outside the swimmers' flag area (Sue)

Eg. Always keep the gate closed on your home pool area. (Lachlan)
