Surfside was opened in January 1992 and was based at Ocean Grove Primary School. Surfside moved to the new site in John Dory Drive in May 1993. The school, with an enrolment of 264 students, is situated in the new residential area of Ocean Grove on the Bellarine Peninsula, Victoria.
